Job Description
MTI is hiring an Inspector/Technician to support our construction materials testing and special inspection team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to get started in the construction industry with on-the-job training and mentorship. No prior experience is required, but familiarity with construction sites is helpful.
Responsibilities
- Assist with on-site field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials
- Document field conditions and results accurately
- Transport samples to the lab as needed
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and contractors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- English fluency (spoken and written)
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license
- Interest in learning and growing in a technical field
Salary
Starting at $18–$22/hour, depending on experience and certifications.
